The game is divided into the three paths. For each path is responsible one team: Academic Gimnasium for the period1917-1939, Gimnasium from Grebocin for the period 1939-1945, and ICIMSS team working with children from a number of schools in an after-hours mode for the period 1945-1989. The game takes place in the territory of the Old Town in Toruń and surrounding area when it is important for the game content. Only a few players will stay in “the Headquarter” in front of the computer. Most of the children should play outside.
Players are equipped with the GPS, and the mobile phones helping them to find the way to the point. On the two paths (1918-1939 and 1945-1989) players move thanks to the good answers to the questions and riddles. On the path 1938-1945 players get an information how to reach the next point in an envelope. Inside there is a historical description of the point and instruction of how to get to the next point.
Players in the territory on the path 1918-1939 use the old map of Toruń and during the game they mark the points on the city map from that period of time, so that the whole trip of the players is marked.
All players in “the Headquarter” also must designate each point on the vector map. This is a current map of Toruń.
Players in the territory and in “the Headquarter” use chat for communication .
Game begins in front of the computer where users can see a time machine represented by a rickshaw. Each team must choose one of the rickshaw. Using the time machine a player gets into one of the chosen year in the past. When a player knows the time and reads a short historical description of the period s/he can start playing in the territory.
