This basic school has an extended teaching of informatics, computing science and physical education and is located in south-east Bohemia appx. 120 km from Prague.
The school is actively organizing after-school classes oriented at technical subjects such as new technologies, local history and language classes. Our school is one from four primary schools in our town Pelhřimov.
It stands on periphery of the town. We have 18 classes and about 400 pupils.
Each grade has two classes. There are Class 6A, 6B and 7A with extensive teaching of computer science in our school. We have two computer classrooms.One of them is more modern. There are 12 computers for children and one for teacher.
We use Windows XP Professional and each computer is online. There is the dataprojector in this computer classroom.
As for the project eMapps.com there is a group of 15 pupils being involved. Project is a part of school subject informatics and after school activity – local history.
