Requirements Study (D1)

This document (D1) addresses the requirement in the eMapps.com Technical Annex to establish a baseline for the work the project. It reflects specifically, the results of the following tasks:

• to co-ordinate groundclearing desk research on the status of use of ICT, through the lead partners in each of the 8 NMS, including any existing work with games and mobile platforms, which will establish a baseline for the work of eMapps.com.

• to conduct a survey of national or regional policies in relation to the use of ICT in the curriculum, covering developments in national school curricula, in lesson planning and teaching methodologies.
