The Pedagogical Matrix
The game promotes Ljubljana, it’s history and culture. The main goal of the game is to improve students knowledge about the capital city of Slovenia. The scenario and the game challenges are arrange to this goal. Game is intended to be played by children from 10 to 14 years old. Pupils at this age already got a common knowledge at all major school subjects involved in this game and they also got a lot of information about the town of Ljubljana. A game scenario is the combination between fun adventure and the school curricula.
Game players are looking for a secret treasure which is hidden at the last point of the game (a note with invitation to the castle restaurant to have an ice cream). Before they reach it they must solve different challenges:
- memory challenges,
- knowledge based challenges (geography, history, art, culture, literacy, math),
- exploration challenges,
- puzzle challenges
- conflict challenges.
