The Pedagogical Matrix
The game The Secovlje Saltpans is almost universal. Any student can find something for himself in it. The game can be adapted among the groups in a class and among different classes. Those who prefer natural science can choose from games on science and geography. The students who prefere humanistics can choose from games on literature and vocabulary. Older students can get extra tasks on chemistry, physics and history.
The game si not only instructive but also educative and cheerful. The students need to follow the rules of well-behaviour, at the same time they move and have a lot of fun.

| Ethics | how to behave in national parks. |
| Mathematics | calculating the salt-pond area and the volume of the salt-carriages. |
| Biology | getting to know the swamp and sea birds, halophyte plants and animals. |
| House-keeping | how to survive in salt-pans. |
| Gym | march and the games demanding special skills. |
| Physics | evaporating process, energy transfer. |
| Technics | working wind mills to pump water. |
